My client who are based in West Sussex are in need of PCB Assembler to join their Assembly team. You will be providing support to their fast-moving in house electronic manufactured products. They operate in many industries such as medical, aerospace and defence and been a success for 50 years now!

My client manufacture PCB's and your role will be to the assemble them and ensure that you are following the customers procedures to ensure highest quality standard for the customers.

Responsibilities - PCB Assembler

• Preparing for first stage assembly, setting up hands tools, component recognition, machine preparation
• Understanding and implementing Quality standards
• Understanding documentation/systems use - How to use DPL and build packages
• Prototyping - build without full build package and change build package if needed
• Hand Soldering
• Inspection of the PCB's
• Machine maintenance
• PCB modifications and rework- wire linking etc
• Repair and final assembly

Key Skills/Experience - PCB Assembler

• Component Identification knowledge
• PCB Assembly experience
• Previous experience in a similar job or Electronic background preferred
• Numeric, basic computer skills
• Efficient worker
• Keen eye for detail
• Good team player
