A cutting-edge Aerospace & Defence organisation are recruiting a PMO Coordinator to be accountable for best practice project management processes, reporting and co-ordination of cross project activities.

You will be responsible for driving consistency and developing processes within the PMO. We are interested in speaking with candidates with strong coordination and organisation, as well as versatility and imagination.

Responsibilities - PMO Coordinator

  • Management and coordination of the PMO to provide tools and services to the PM teams and wider business.

  • Management of project review meetings, including reporting monthly programme performance metrics (e.g. scorecard status, OTD).

  • Develop and maintain standardised reporting of project and business KPIs

  • Manage quality processes (EN9100/ISO9001) for the Project Management function.

  • Develop and maintain common WBS project structures for use by the PM teams.

  • Ensure the monitoring and rescheduling of OTD deliverables by the Project Teams and regular update of the deliverable milestone matrix for the year.

  • Management of risk register adherence and ownership of the risk management tool.

  • Assess potential new tools to drive business improvement (e.g. risk & cost management packages).

  • Contribute to the analysis of the cost control plans and programme margins led by the PM's.

Qualifications - PMO Coordinator

  • Recognised Project Management qualification/accreditation is desirable (e.g. APM Membership or qualifications, PMI, PRINCE2, etc.).

  • Educated to degree level in a technical discipline or equivalent PMO experience.

  • Additional training will be provided for those areas where experience and key skills may be missing.
