A cutting-edge Aerospace & Defence organisation are recruiting a PMO Manager to be accountable for best practice project management processes, reporting and co-ordination of cross project activities.

Responsibilities - PMO Manager

• Management of the PMO to provide tools and services to the PM teams and wider business.

• Management of project review meetings, including reporting monthly programme performance metrics (e.g. scorecard status, OTD).

• Develop and maintain standardised reporting of project and business KPIs

• Manage quality processes (EN9100/ISO9001) for the Project Management function.

• Develop and maintain common WBS project structures for use by the PM teams.

• Ensure the monitoring and rescheduling of OTD deliverables by the Project Teams and regular update of the deliverable milestone matrix for the year.

• Management of risk register adherence and ownership of the risk management tool.

• Assess potential new tools to drive business improvement (e.g. risk & cost management packages).

• Contribute to the analysis of the cost control plans and programme margins led by the PM's.

Qualifications - PMO Manager

• Recognised Project Management qualification/accreditation is desirable (e.g. APM Membership or qualifications, PMI, PRINCE2, etc.).

• Educated to degree level in a technical discipline or equivalent PMO experience.

• Additional training will be provided for those areas where experience and key skills may be missing.
