Job Description

The PMO Lead will report to the Programme Delivery Lead. The role is an essential point of contact for internal staff and the technical resources team for projects. Therefore it is important that they build appropriate and effective relationships with internal and customer stakeholders to support all project delivery.

The key objectives and responsibilities of this role are as follows:

  • Provide a conduit for advice and guidance to the Project Management team for all Project Management processes, standards and document templates covering the full Project Management Lifecycle

  • Ensure adherence to the project scaling process

  • Maintain a master list of Project Management templates

  • Maintain an appropriate File Share for Projects and PMO group

  • Support the Programme Delivery Lead in constructing and issuing any weekly/ monthly Management Information (MI) relating to projects

  • Liaise with SC+ suppliers where required From time to time support the Project Managers in aspects relating to general administration of running a project e.g. RAID updates

Knowledge and Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience providing co-ordination support to complex business functions

  • Experienced with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience of maintaining internal CMDB

  • Experienced in the use of the company's Xero accounting system and processes


Desirable

  • Proven experience providing support to Project Management Teams

  • Experience working with Microsoft Project
