Leadership is a trait needed for the role I am about to describe - as well as kind, compassionate and hardworking.
A residential care home for children with SEN I am working with is looking for a Practice Team Leader to join the family over there. They are a small establishment under a very well known charity, looking after children ages 6-18 before they go into adult residential care. Working underneath the Registered Manager and alongside the Senior Support Workers, you'll be responsible for the management of staff and ensuring the quality of the service stays at it's all time high.
You will be going out on trips, working on child development, and devloping effective working relationships. You'll need to hit the ground running and have the influential trait in you to encourage your team to work hard and keep up the happy medium which is in the care home. You can ask for any support or training which you feel you need - the Registered Manager is fantastic and will be happy to help you with anything.
