Job Description

  • Provision of advice and consultancy services to Government and Commercial clients across risk assessment, risk management and security architecture.

  • Assist the formulation and coordination of bids and proposals.

  • Engage with stakeholders across a range of sectors in support of Business Development activities

  • You will be able to manage resources in order to plan, estimate and carry out consulting activities to time, budget and quality targets and in accordance with appropriate standards.

  • Monitor and reports on the progress of projects, using appropriate quality assurance processes to ensure that projects are carried out in accordance with agreed standards, methods and procedures.

  • Stakeholder engagement including customers, programme managers, business leaders, developers and implementers, safety, security and other subject matter experts.

Skills and experience in the following areas are mandatory:

  • Consultancy skills - building customer relations; flexibility in working hours and locations; adaptability to changing schedules; reliability and quality of task delivery; team player.

  • Broad and deep ICT cyber security technical knowledge

  • Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and drive success. Diplomatic with strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Good understanding of risk in a cyber context, including approaches to manage risk through people, process and technology controls

  • Security professional certifications (such as CISSP, CISM and CCP Senior/Lead)

  • Technical security qualifications, such as SANS or COMPTIA are strongly preferred

  • Ability to demonstrate the determination and drive that will be required to deliver a challenging role

  • Ability to interpret and advise on current standards and guidance such as NCSC, NIST and wider HMG.
