I am recruiting a Principle DevOps Engineer with scripting skills and experience of large scale platforms to joining a global company who are working at the bleeding edge of technology. You will join a team responsible for defining the core platforms and technologies that the development teams use to deliver highly available, scaleable and reliable systems to users, primarily hosted in AWS.

Role: Principle DevOps Engineer

As Principle DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for:

+ Working in a small agile team that creates our core infrastructure platforms
+ Collaborating with teammates to produce high quality solutions
+ Working with the architecture team to define the infrastructure technology roadmap
+ Playing a key role in defining our Kubernetes based microservices platform
+ Continually improve the reliability of systems
+ Working with development teams to optimise deployment pipelines
+ Contributing to code reviews to keep quality high and technical debt as low as possible

Experience:

As Principle DevOps Engineer you will have experience of:

+ Degree qualified or equivalent in Software Engineering / Computer Science or other relevant discipline
+ Experience with CI/CD pipelines and high levels of automation
+ Experienced in at least one programming language
+ Experience with cloud environments (or virtualised / containerised environments)
+ Experience in engineering systems at scale
+ Eagerness to learn, expand your skills, and try new tools
+ Ready to work in all areas of our technology stack
+ Understanding of how agile development teams work
