Principle Enterprise Systems Engineer

A Principle Enterprise Systems Engineer with a strong background in Large Enterprise environments is required to implement and develop the companies technology strategy support thousands of global users.

Role: Principle Enterprise Systems Engineer

As Enterprise Systems Engineer you will be responsible for:

+ Define and deliver our end user device strategy - including accountability for hardware selection, life-cycle management and end user experience improvements
+ Defining and delivering a Bring Your Own Device policy
+ Engage with Service Assurance functions to mature governance processes
+ Ensuring all staff are provided with training and resources needed to fulfil their objectives. Ensure all staff are provided with frequent feedback and coaching to meet and exceed individual and team performance goals consistently
+ Assisting in advising and evaluating technologies, reviewing standards, policies and procedures

Experience

As Principle Enterprise Systems Engineer you will have experience of:

+ Degree qualified or equivalent in Computer Science or other relevant discipline
+ AWS or MCSE Certification would be advantageous
+ Deep understanding of Windows and Mac enterprise environments (including exposure to SCCM/JAMF)
+ Practical knowledge of large OS and hardware deployments of PC / Mac desktops and laptops
+ Practical knowledge of application deployments in an enterprise environment
+ Knowledge of mobile operating systems, including iOS and Android
+ Support and troubleshooting knowledge of Video Conferencing solutions, including Skype, Polycom and Logitech
+ Knowledge of supporting DaaS platforms and supporting remote desktop users (ideally AWS WorkSpaces)
+ Good experience in the automation of manual tasks and seeking out efficiency's by 'shifting left' where possible, for example the automation of Desktop provisioning and Application deployment, including end user self-service
