As a Procurement Leader, you will be responsible for a team of professional staff in the delivery of the Dreadnought Supply Chain Mechanical requirements so ensuring materials and services are provided within budget and to schedule and in full compliance with the technical and quality requirements.

This role will provide you with the chance to adopt tools and techniques that ensure delivery of common business and functional objectives. There will be opportunities to work with internal stakeholders and the supplier to ensure the boat requirements are met.

Your main responsibilities as a Procurement Leader will involve:

+Delivering the product by ensuring that direct reports have purpose and clarity and are empowered to meet key delivery targets within an acceptable timescale and budget

+Helping to deliver key strategies, policies and procedures that enhance product quality and customer satisfaction

+Working cross functionally in order to ensure achievement of key knowledge transfer and deployment of best working practices across the business

+Managing behaviours to ensure they are conducive to the required business culture, maintaining a united and professional image

+Maintaining the required levels of reporting across your team associated with; progress in development and production phases, cost management, spend management, supplier performance (SPR), schedule delivery performance of data and hardware

+Responsibility of the maintenance and creation of purchase orders in SAP

+Responsibility maintenance and creation of TeamCenter chronicles and workflows

+Facilitating and/or lead the LCM requirements associated with the work package and that of the team

Your skills and qualifications as a Procurement Leader:

+Experience of interpreting supplier performance metrics and to work with suppliers to address performance shortfalls

+Full MCIPS Qualification or working towards

+A good knowledge of all financial aspects from cost accountant management reviews and Cost Forecasting through to value for money for the equipment being procured

+Major subcontract management experience

Understanding of Supplier Performance reviews (SPR)

+Run full Contract Management Reviews with Suppliers and take appropriate actions

+Project Management, Supply Chain/Quality experience/knowledge

+Familiarisation with SAP and TeamCenter would be beneficial

Location: Barrow - Relocation allowance has been approved for this role
