Based in Dartford Kent with hybrid remote working

£50,000 - £60,000 with 10% annual bonus

An industry leader in the automotive/electronics industry that design and manufacture innovative safety equipment is looking for a Procurement Manager. My client operates worldwide and has many different suppliers overseas. The Procurement manager is a vital role for my client as you will lead the procurement function to meet the growth of their customers. They need someone that will drive profit margins through the management and development of the supply base.

Roles/ Responsibilities - Procurement Manager - Dartford Kent

You will be working heavily with the purchasing team and driving development of their suppliers and monitor/manage the supplier performance process. Ensuring that the supplier base can provide the business inventory requirements within the project timeframes

Some of responsibilities:

• Drive quality and improvement and cost reduction
• Manage the Purchasing team
• Develop and procurement strategy
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure all procurement policies are compliant with the regulatory standards

Skills/Experience - Procurement Manager - Dartford Kent

• CIPS or MCIPS qualified or a Supply chain or Engineering degree or substantial experience
• Experience with multimillion pound budgets
• Previous management experience in procurement function
• Strong knowledge of purchasing and supply chain systems
• Knowledge of Lean techniques
• Has used ERP Systems
• Strong negotiator
