A UK leader that manufactures and designs highly technical safety solutions for the commercial vehicle industry are looking for a Product Development Engineer. The role will be to lead the development of my clients products with agreed cost, quality and time commitments

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage product development throughout the product lifecycle
• Supplier liaison and management
• Create product development activities and monitor the progress
• Perform a technical risk and problem analysis
• Product verification and validation
• Lead in change and requirements management activities
• Conduct design reviews

Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Technical Qualification (HNC, HND, Degree etc)
• At least 3 years industry experience in a Product Development role
• Experience in project planning
• Knowledge of requirements and change managment
• Attention to detail is critical
• Strong commuicator
