Location: Dartford Kent with Hybrid remote working

Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 + 10% bonus and benefits

Join an industry leader in manufacturing technical vehicle safety equipment and products for the Automotive and Agricultural sector as a Product development Engineer. My client design and manufactures complex electronic vehicle safety products such reverse camera sensors and radar obstacle detection systems.

The Role - Product Development Engineer:

Reporting directly to the Product Development Manager you will be:

• Lead and manage product development through the product lifecycle
• Supplier engagement and managing their expectation
• Product verification validation both in house and external
• Create requirements and engineering specification
• Product development and design for manufacturing
• Prepare detailed component technical drawings, documentation and user manuals
• Help customers with sales and marketing on technical solutions

Experience/Skills required - Product Development Engineer:

• HND or HNC or degree qualified in Electronics Engineering
• 3 years industry experience in an Electronics product development (Would consider less)
• A good understanding of analogue and digital Electronics
• Knowledge of electronics and software design and development with some testing experience
• Basic understanding of embedded software
• Interest in automotive or Electronics the industry
