We provide full product lifecycle support across a portfolio of vacuum devices, used in commercial, defence and novel applications.
The primary focus of the role is to support manufacturing in meeting production output, on time delivery (OTD) whilst adhering to strict quality standards.
Improvement activities, product failure analysis and reporting on customer returns.
There are opportunities to develop knowledge and skills within several unique sectors such as vacuum processes, the use of exotic materials and RF testing.
Improve product quality; DFMEA, PFMEA, control plan; Plan and implement continuous improvement activities, challenge convention where necessary.
Experience in an engineering role in a manufacturing environment.
Degree in a relevant engineering subject or equivalent qualification.
A working knowledge in at least one of the following: electrical assembly, mechanical assembly, manufacturing, quality; production; RF testing.
Understanding of the quality and problem solving toolsets: - e.g.: CI, Lean & Six Sigma methodology, 8D, A3, Root Cause Analysis.
