Production Engineer

£35,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)

West Sussex - site based - Monday - Friday - 37.5 hours

An extremely reputable organisation specialising in cutting edge fuel cell technologies are seeking an experienced Production Engineer to work with their experienced team who are responsible for the process of depositing ink into the fuel cell. This role will also involve the industrialisation of this process and liaising with manufacturing partners.

As the Production Engineer you must be willing to travel to their site in West Sussex daily. You must also be flexible to travel internationally for 2-3 weeks up to 4-5 times a year.

Experience/Qualifications required - Production Engineer;

  • Worked as a Chemical Engineer, Production Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer with experience industrialising/upscaling a production process

  • Transferable industry background e.g. coating, painting, spraying, ceramics, oil & gas, chemical, fluid formulation, food and beverage, automotive - painting cars, printers/printing presses - ink, milling/flour/coffee/grains/wheats, working with raw materials - or heavy metal industries etc.

  • Laboratory characterisation skills/wet chemistry formulations experience

  • Degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry

  • Excellent communication, you will be required to present to customers
