Our client is seeking a Production Manager who is self-motivated, flexible and highly competent who excels in team motivation, implementing organisational systems and operational change.

Key accountabilities - Production Manager

+ The Production Manager will be coordinating and managing a team of multi-skilled technicians and fitters in supporting of the assembly and R&D projects for both vehicle systems and will also support the planning and co-ordination of assembly and installation of electrical, mechanical and trim automotive system components.

+ Direct liaison with Quality & Manufacturing engineers to report, rectify and conduct problem solving activities for any quality or build related issues.

+ Take ownership of assigned tasks, responsible for specific deliverables

+ Support to the Company's proto-typing and batch production activities on vehicles

+ Identify, co-ordinate and support continuous improvement initiatives to include lean manufacturing principles.

+ Assist to plan the new products / specials or modifications from R&D into production.

+ Monitor development of team and identify training opportunities when & where applicable.

Skills and knowledge required - Production Manager

+ Automotive vehicles build operational experience.

+ Automotive manufacturing engineering, line side controls and measure.

+ Working and implementation experience of Six Sigma, 5s & KANBAN.

+ Establishment and development of vehicle build and manufacturing facilities.

+ Resource planning and scaling capabilities.

+ Managerial and leadership experience of diverse teams.
