Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
A technology innovator in renewable energy specialising in Fuel Cell technology is seeking a Production Planning Lead.
This role is responsible for leading a small team to manage all production planning activities. A key part of this role is the effective optimisation of both current, future and development capacity.
Responsibilities and Duties - Production Planning Lead
Maintain and manage the Scheduling System to support Operations and Projects.
Review scheduling requirements and ensure work orders are manufactured within deadlines.
Produce weekly / monthly reports as required.
To develop and maintain a Sales and Operations Planning process, presenting monthly to senior operation and commercial leadership team.
Provide support with the introduction of new products to ensure operational planning requirements are completed on time and within budget.
Support Manufacturing and Technical leadership team as necessary to ensure the production team meets and/or exceed key goals.
Support departmental performance metrics KPI's and provides regular progress reports to Senior Leadership.
Maintain BOM and master data as required.
To work closely with the procurement team carrying out forecasting and inventory analysis for future purchasing decisions
To contribute to CI initiatives to enhance throughput, product and service levels to our customers.
Requirements - Production Planning Lead
Strong computer skills and proficiency with ERP Systems and MS products
Good working knowledge of MRP process
Project, planning and resource management skills
Ability to communicate clearly at all levels of the organization
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information
Effective in making decisions under pressure
Focused on results with the ability to work to deadlines
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal communication and listening skills.
Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting work priorities, ambiguity, adversity, and change.
Good analytical and business judgment including demonstrated problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and knowledge of change control methods and processes
