Based in Coventry Warwickshire

6 months contact initially paying up to £40.00 per hour (Inside IR35)

My client who operates in the Automotive and Defence sector are urgently looking for a contractor to help with their production side of the business. The role is to support the management of the production team. You will be coordinating a skilled team of technicians and fitters for the assembly and installation of my client's high end bespoke vehicles!

Responsibilities - Product Support - Coventry

• Support production improvements in the build process
• Ensure work is completed to correct deadlines
• Communicate with the supply chain team to identify any issues that will have negative impact on the production schedule
• Manage a team of skilled Technicians and Fitters
• Ensure the work is completed to my clients correct standard
• Provide technical advice when needed
• Solve any problems that arise on build related issues.

Key Skills/Experience - Product Support - Coventry

• HNC/BTEC or higher qualification in a engineering discipline
• Previous experience leading a team
• At least 5 years' experience on working on low volume vehicle manufacturing
• Able to read engineering drawings
• Systems integration knowledge
• Proficient use of SAP/ERP systems
• Strong problem solver
• Eligible for security clearance
