Programme Manager

A key player in the Aerospace and Defence industry are looking to recruit a Programme Manager to provide leadership and management. This role will see you having responsibility of enhancing and delivering against multiple project activities.

Key responsibilities of a Programme Manager:

+ Delivering all projects to an agreed time, cost and margin

+ Managing and leading the ongoing development and/or improvement of relationships with customers and suppliers for current and future projects.

+ Developing and delivering a campaign strategy road map for the Mode 5 Export in conjunction with other disciplines

+ Providing direct line management, leadership, feedback, career development and performance management of junior Project Management staff.

+ Working knowledge of Engineering, Commercial and Procurement aspects of project execution.

Skills and qualifications of a Programme Manager should include:

+ Proven experience as a Programme Manager or other managerial position

+ Experience of remotely managing of multi-disciplined teams to deliver multi million pound development & production projects, with a focus on achieving high performance against objectives

+ Demonstrated ability to influence both internally & externally at all levels, including senior management.

+ Working knowledge & experience of policies & practices in particular related to Life Cycle Management, Risk Management & Project Execution.
