Programme Manager - Business Development

A key player within the aerospace and defence industry are looking to recruit a Programme Manager to be responsible for the development of new business opportunities.
Key accountabilities -
+ Strong network of internal and external partners generated and maintained.
+ New prospects identified, qualified and developed - captured using campaign plans, SAP and IBP entries.
+ All programmes delivered to performance, time, quality and budget.
+ Accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
+ Proactive identification and understanding of key customer requirements and market trends to allow alignment of business investment.
+ Market and competitor analysis input contributed.
Skills and knowledge required -
+ Demonstrable track record in both winning and delivering business.
+ Credible and confident in engaging with senior executive management in customer and partner organisations.
+ Proven track record in building and leading multidisciplinary teams for campaigns, bids and delivery programmes.
+ Strong business acumen / commercial, able to clearly articulate complex route to contract processes
+ Ability to identify, develop and implement risk and opportunity sharing mechanisms within our Customer Environment
+ Providing Programme Management Leadership to delivery teams utilising technical, programme & commercial know how to deliver Sales, Margin and Profit as well as achieving contract KPIs
