Role: Programme Manager - NPI
Location: Romsey , Hampshire
Salary: Up to circa £55,000 ( depending on experience )
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Programme Manager to join a rapidly expanding technology business who are transitioning from an R&D phase to a Product focused stage in their development. The successful candidate will deliver NPI projects to time , cost and quality expectations
Working closely with the Technical , Operations , Sales and marketing teams you will lead multiple products through the full lifecycle from requirement stage to project completion
Responsibilities:
Work closely with Technical Director to plan new product introduction ( NPI ) and define the scope of projects together with roles , and responsibilities
Lead the NPI process as a member of the Technical team working alongside Operational and Sales & Marketing lead roles
Bring products to market meeting cost , quality and timescale objectives
Interface across the business to meet project requirements
Engage with customers to support business development activities and ensure products meet customer requirements
Work with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure delivery of materials , components and processes in line with development projects
Support the operations team in scaling the manufacturing facility to support NPI
Coordinate with external test facilities to achieve regulatory compliance
Monitor the performance of all projects and report status
Taking the initiative in proposing and implementing solutions for areas of improvement in the Company's operations
Continuously improve ISO standards including authoring operating procedures
Requirements
Technical / Engineering qualification i.e HNC / HND or BSc / BEng , MSc / Meng
Proven Project Management experience in a product / NPI environment
Experience with Agile Project Management processes preferred
Capable planning and multi-tasking / prioritisation skills
Strong communication , leadership and relationship building and influencing skills
