Project Administrator

This is an opportunity to join a company on a permanent basis as Project Administrator working with both customers and internal staff to ensure all documentation is provided in a controlled manner. The role will also entail managing updates on projects from different departments within the business.
Key responsibilities:
Manage change control for all project and technical changes to drawings and documentation.
Ensure all project related documentation and communication are saved in accordance with company procedures.
Assist with the preparation, collation and submission all required documentation and drawings for each project.
Interact with the customer in relation to project drawings and documentation.
Meet internal KPI's in terms of targets for getting project documentation and drawings completed.
Be the main point of contact for internal and external quality audits. Manage any non-conformances and contribute towards continuous improvement and process improvement.
Schedule and attend internal and external meetings as necessary.
Be the first point of contact for customer project related queries.
Provide administrative support for project engineer(s), sales team and R & D teams.
Key Skills
Technical knowledge of design / engineering / manufacturing processes.
Change control experience.
Administration and document management experience required.
Project Management Skills - Knowledge of Microsoft Project 2010 desirable but not essential.
Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads.
Good communication, both written and verbal, skills.
