We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Project Controller/Planner with a global high-tech company and one of the key players in Aerospace, Defence and Security. This role provides you with the opportunity to work on meaningful and high-calibre projects alongside leading engineers and business professionals within an established, award-winning company.

The role will have the responsibility for supporting and controlling high risk, highly complex. You will be required to pro-actively work within the Project Team structure, applying critical monitoring and control techniques to projects and programmes.

You will be a key member of the project team and will work directly with one or more project managers to help drive towards key goals and objectives. You will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of the Projects deliverables are accurately maintained, documented and reported in a consistent, standardised and robust manner.

What you will do

  • All aspects of project control processes for gathering and analysing of data with regards to cost and schedule performance.

  • Owner of the integrated master schedule with support from the project managers

  • Ability to pull and analyse financial data

  • Presenting and demonstrating project performance in a clear and concise manner to be used by stakeholders including the customer at varying levels of the organisation.

  • Support the PMs and technical leads

  • Supports compliant execution to the project lifecycle to ensure objectives are achieved.

  • Supports the development and maintenance of project management documentation in accordance with the contractual deliverables.

  • Acts as the subject matter expert for the assigned project on the risk management procedures and process.

What we are looking for

  • Knowledge of techniques and procedures gained through training including: EVM Standard Theory & Network Planning.

  • Demonstrated experience in utilising techniques such as Earned Value Management, Critical Path Analysis & Risk Management.

  • Ability to influence internal stakeholders, using data and analysis to support line of reasoning

  • Breadth of understanding in all parts of lifecycle and experience in some stages.

  • Demonstrated experience in project control and planning

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
