Project Design Engineer
Location: Redhill, Surrey
Up to £45,000 (negotiable) + benefits
A leading manufacturer and supplier of oil & gas and hydraulic detection equipment is looking for a Project Design Engineer to join their busy team based in Redhill, Surrey.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Project Design Engineer, you will support Project Engineering and the transition of new products into Production. You will take the lead of Design and implement the product into Production by using Project Management principles whilst still having the understanding of good manufacturing practices.
You will also help to support R&D, Sales, Service and Production with issues that may arise as well as working closely with senior management, source and consult with suppliers of purchased components for Design activities and manage multiple projects, including tasks allocated to you, within a set timeframe.
Experience/Skills required:
- Relevant manufacturing/engineering degree or equivalent preferred i.e. ONC, NVQ, HNC, HND
- 5+ years experience in Mechanical & Electrical Design.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks either in New Product Design or Bespoke Projects.
- Experience in Project Management.
- Solidworks knowledge.
- Technical experience working within marine, offshore and industrial industries in a similar service role is desirable.
