We are delighted to be working with our client, a very large organisation operating on the Biotechnology sector, who wish to appoint a Project Director to take overall responsibility for their QC Laboratories CAPEX investment.

They are currently expanding their existing facility with 12,000 sqm Quality Control Laboratory, buildings and support buildings.

Project Director - Responsibilities

• Leadership of the project team - basic design to final validation

• Manage the relationships between client input and the engineering partner

• Manage the relationship and collaboration with the engineering and construction partners

• Lead relationships between engineering partner and quality assurance process

• Lead a team of Project Managers in the project to resolve issues and maintain traction of the project

• Report frequently on progress, status, and issues with the steering group of QC Lab.

Project Director - Experience and Skills

• Solid experience in leading large CAPEX projects within the Danish Pharmaceutical industry

• Extensive experience as a Construction Project Manager

• Project management for Laboratory projects

• Experience with parallel design and construction

• Contract management and negotiation

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

• Self driven

• Relevant qualification or experience in construction management

• Project management certifications
