A FTSE 500 company. In the UK some of their services include; IT consulting services, technology products, managed services, cloud-based solutions, and systems integration.


A Project Manager is required in order to support a Business Change Project. This PM will have responsibility to lead and conclude the overarching delay claims project supported by PMO Graduate PM.

This Contractually/Commercially focussed role will be executed in two overlapping parts:

  1. Understand & Define - To evidence delays already reported by field-based teams, take unstructured evidence trails (generally emails) and form a coherent exception report, which aligns with the requirements of the relevant contract schedules. This needs to be in a format which has been approved, providing a factual & compliant 'exception reports' to support the Commercial Letters & delay claims.

  2. Educate and Transform - Using the knowledge gained during the "Understand & Define" phase, form templates, guidelines and ways of working to transition into PMO and delivery teams. Success will be measured by the demonstrable adjustment of behaviours, providing evidence and exception reports, which align with the requirements of the contract, and can be used directly. The above may result in establishing a supporting capability within the PMO to centrally capture, format & archive evidence trails.

  • Able to define and establish accurate, methodical, procedures and ways of working into a steady state function Process definition & documentation face.

  • Able to write in a formal and commercial manner Stakeholder Management & influencing skills Intermediate Excel, Visio & Word User.

  • Demonstrate experience in a customer facing role, and able to negotiate agreement

  • Demonstrate experience working on projects and evidence/awareness of project dependency management

  • Evidence on managing end2end process - responsibility as manager/team leader - for a process that is accurate, timely, quality, multiple events and all on short lead-time
