Job Description

As part of this Service Delivery will need to ensure data related projects are delivered in a co-ordinated, efficient and structured way. The Project Manager will be expected to:
* Ensure requirements are defined and controlled through the end to end delivery
* Bring together a team of experts to deliver effectively and support each other
* Plan and track all deliveries - facilitating on time delivery
* Proactive reporting and communication ensuring stakeholders and engaged and managed appropriately
* Implement and work to PM standards and best practice; constantly challenge to ensure service excellence
* Manage RAID appropriately escalating to ensure constructive action to recovery is possible
* Take proactive ownership of your project portfolio and be accountable for it's success
* Enable and propose solutions to problems impacting project delivery
* Report up to C suite level
* Be flexible in approach to ensure we are successful in delivery

Responsibilities

* Accountable for project delivery including key timely updates against time, cost and risk management
* Responsible for the roadmap for the project and managing progress and expectations against this; communicating clearly
* Delivers regular reports on progress, manages risks and handles change control in an effective way as data and assets are transitioned across and the cloud is adopted by the business
* Managing stakeholder demands and prioritising them to maximise value
* Managing and removing blockers to success, escalating appropriately
* Implementation of project management standards and best practices
* Co-ordination and performance of the project team
* Managing escalations appropriately

Skills & Qualities

* Assertive but empathetic stakeholder management and influencing
* Qualification in Project Management with experience and evidence of application (both agile and waterfall preferred)
* Able to understand technical deliveries and challenge at SME's at a high level
* Flexibility and can do attitude
* Proactive with a strong ownership ethic and drive for success
* Experienced, effective facilitator and problem solver
* Experience of working as part of a data enterprise would be an advantage
