Role: Project Manager
Location: Brighton (Hybrid working considered)
Salary: Up to £65,000

A market leading Engineering / Manufacturing company operating in highly regulated industries with a global client base , are seeking a talented Project Manager .


Role: Project Manager
You will be focused on multidisciplinary design projects working alongside the design engineering team , supporting the design of electro-mechanical systems.

You will have demonstrable experience of managing multi skilled teams , monitoring associated budgets , requesting / understanding project resources needs and motivating and managing the project's team members . Other duties include issuing progress reports , and ensuring deadlines and budgets are met

Responsibilities of Project Manager

+ Managing projects ( including budgets , resource , requirements , risks and cash flow ) involving multidisciplinary technical teams

+ Taking a leading role in project meetings and providing advice to customers and stakeholders

+ Taking responsibility for technical quality / approval of project deliverables

+ Providing advice on project and technical issues , at an in-depth level within own area of expertise , but also on a broad range of topics

+ Advising on performance gaps with assigned project team members

+ Bids & Proposal creation / support

Experience required for Project Manager
+ Significant experience within Project Managent

+ Project management qualifications (Prince2 , APMP etc..) desirable

+ In-depth knowledge of Engineering process and relevant UK legislation

+ Excellent Commercial and Project / Programme Management skills

+ Evidence of excellent client and stakeholder relationships and ability to develop new ones
+ Previous experience in Defence, Aerospace or other similar highly regulated industries
