Project Planner - Engineering Aerospace Company

Skills: Project Planner / Junior PM / PMO / PMS

The opportunity has arisen for a Project Planner / PMO Planner or Junior PM to oversee the growth and development of projects within an engineering R&D facility. Working within the Project Management Team, you will be supporting Project Managers and Work Package Managers in the maintenance and governance of their project schedules on a daily basis.

As a Project Planner you will be expected to work with all levels of the business to ensure project plans are accurate and consistent for the business to make informed decisions to achieve the following:

  • On-time delivery
  • Resource allocation
  • Revenue recognition

We are looking for a bright, ambitious and hungry Project Planner / Junior PM, degree educated, who has a solid technical background within Engineering.

Your role will be to manage the programme plan, keeping it updated based on input from various teams. You will co-ordinate and support the PM streams as required, interfacing with external suppliers & sub contractors along with internal stakeholders and team leader and full budget responsibility.

Experience and qualifications;

+ Able to demonstrate previous experience of managing a portfolio of projects

+ Working on concurrent complex projects

+ Coordinating projects / programme with technical team with emphasis on project plan , progress , risk mgmt, status reporting , helping in administrative ways etc.

+ BSc , MSc , BEng , MEng or PhD in and Engineering discipline
