As an Quality Controller Inspector you will be part of an experienced team responsible for the quality control and verification of product and processes within a technological manufacturing environment, ensuring that product conforms to the correct standards and build specifications.
This role will involve Electrical/Electronic inspection, Mechanical assembly Inspection and business system use to record key data relating to inspection compliance and/or defects identified.

Your main responsibilities as an Electrical/Electronic Quality Controller Inspector
Undertake QC inspection activities without immediate supervision
Support customer acceptances as required
Support internal and external audits as required
Have a clear understanding of and be able to apply local Quality Management System policies, procedures and processes
Independently liaise/ interface with other areas of the business as required
Make independent decisions - assess issues and support/progress resolution
Represent the company and self in a professional manner
Your skills and qualifications:
Experience of Inspecting Electrical/Electronic Products including Wired Sub-Assemblies, Cable Harnesses, PCB's & Electrical Cabinets
Working knowledge in all aspects of QC Inspection within a Manufacturing or Engineering environment
Experience of Inspecting Electro-Mechanical Products containing Electrical Sub-Assemblies, Machined Parts, Mouldings, Mechanical Fixings & O-Seals
Have a good understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, and Crimp & Torque Tool Calibration
Must be able to effectively interpret technical data (drawings/specifications) to inform decisions
Have an understanding of manufacturing soldering / wiring standards such as ANSI J/IPC or similar
Desirable:
Have a knowledge of Defence industry and ISO9001/ AS9100D standards
Have knowledge of IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies
Have Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 Requirements and Acceptance for cable and wire Harness Assembles
