The company:

A globally recognised company who specialise in the design and manufacture of medical equipment. Based in a newly established state of the art open plan facility, which helps to promote the communitive and innovative nature of the companies' ethos.

Duties of the Quality Engineer:

The Quality Engineer will be responsible in supporting the quality processes and driving continuous improvement. You will also be required to oversee the quality management system and ensure it is maintained in accordance to quality standards. Working alongside various departments such as Regulatory Affairs, Sales & Marketing, Manufacturing amongst other this is a high impact role.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive results in supporting specific processes such as CAPA

  • Adhere to the relevant medical device Quality standards

  • Participate in both external & internal audits

  • Lead problem solving whilst using quality tools and methods

  • Working to LEAN, Six Sigma, DOE, statistical methods

Experience required

  • Previous experience in a relevant quality or regulatory affairs role - preferably within the medical device arena (however this is not essential)

  • Experience working within a highly regulated field and adhering to the relevant standards and regulations

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant Engineering field or no degree but Quality Engineering experience gained in the workplace
