Quality Inspector

Salary: c. £27,000 increasing to £30,000 after 3-6 months

Location: Southampton, Hampshire

Role: Quality Inspector / CMM / CNC

I am hiring a Quality Inspector with strong experience of the aerospace industry to join a reputable company who manufacture composite materials , safety critical systems for Aircrew around the world. You will join a prestigious company who are looking for experienced an Quality Inspector who will be part of their expanding team, driven by customer demand.

Experience required:

You will be confident in using measuring equipment including, micrometres, verniers, gauges, and shadow graphs.

Ideally you will have previously worked with component drawings and inspected component parts within a safety critical Industry.

Good experience of lean manufacturing practices would be really beneficial for this role as you will working in a lean manufacturing environment.

Role overview:

Must have experience measuring engineering drawings and specifications

Will be expected to carry out inspections for aerospace parts against drawings

Need to have previous experience working as either Assembler, Machinist or Skilled Fitters

Expected to test product materials from suppliers
