Home based role with travel to site (Salisbury) and customers (UK Wide) when required - all expenses paid

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Quality Manager with a global high-tech company and one of the key players in Aerospace, Defence and Security. This role provides you with the opportunity to work on meaningful and high-calibre projects alongside leading engineers and business professionals within an established, award-winning company.
You will be an experienced Quality Assurance professional who will take on responsibility for the proactive and independent assurance of all contract delivery activities for both specific projects as well as the service business as usual activities.
What you will do
Key Responsibilities:
Liaise with the Director, Senior Management Team, and Customer Quality representatives to ensure that the quality system meets the required needs
Ensure that requirements for the management and delivery of key processes, documents and plans are established and implemented (e.g. change control process, QA plan)
Assure that each Contract deliverable has been designed and developed in an appropriate manner
Ensure that potential and live issues with quality across all aspects of the Programme are pre-empted or resolved (e.g. approach, people, process, system etc).
Commission audits and reviews of quality and ensure that the resulting reports are agreed and actioned.
Provision of regular reports and audits on the performance of the Quality System and the delivery of quality products and services to the Customer.
Responsible for the continual improvement of the Product and Process Quality.
Maintaining ISO9001:2015 external certification for the Contract as part of overall certification.
What we are looking for
Required:
Excellent working knowledge of the ISO9001:2015 standard
In depth experience of developing and maintaining quality management systems
Experienced in running internal audit programmes and performing internal audits
Excellent report-writing skills
Strong verbal and written communications skills with staff at all levels within a business
Strong presentation skills
Current driving licence
Desirable:
IRCA qualified lead auditor or equivalent
Knowledge of the AS9100 standard
