We are one of the UK's leading providers of cost effective marine, coastal and land based security and surveillance radar systems and support services; providing solutions for the commercial, defence and security sectors worldwide.

Employing approximately 200 employees, we UK design, develops, manufactures and supplies high technology navigation radar sensors, air traffic management aids and integrated surveillance and security system equipment primarily utilising its core technology

Job Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance and continual improvement the Quality Management System (QMS) and Quality Assurance functions a part of an enthusiastic and driven quality team

• Responsibility for the release and change control of technical data

• Creation and maintenance of project configuration & quality plans in support of the sales bid process

• Support maintenance of the ISO 9001 quality management system and configuration quality management system

• Support the annual internal and external QMS audit programmes, encompassing all business areas, MED product reviews and key suppliers

• Use and support quality management tools, such as Q-Pulse, to administer audit, non-conformance management

• Maintain the configuration quality management system process controls and documentation

• Support the customer complaints process and facilitation of the annual customer satisfaction

• Engage with business functions to expedite non-conformity resolution within target

• Participate with the design and software release process, and promote governance

• Support the bid process within the scope of QMS and configuration management

• Produce and maintain configuration and quality management plans

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience within a quality engineering role

• Engineering background with a qualification in electro mechanical engineering is beneficial

• Qualified ISO auditor ISO 9001:2015

• Knowledge of Marine Equipment Directive (MED) and AQAPs is beneficial

• Understanding of product quality assurance processes such as APQP, PPAP and FAI
