£50,000 pro-rated to £30,000.

The Company

An international provider of diagnostic imaging and radiology maintenance and management services is now seeking someone from a radiography or sonography background (either with clinical experience or within their degree) to join their organisation as a Training Coordinator.

The role

As the Training Coordinator your role will be based in a large NHS hospital acting as the point of contact between on-site clinical staff, mainly Radiographers and Sonographers, and external OEMs (own equipment manufacturers) who provide training for their diagnostic imaging and radiology systems.

Duties/Responsibilities include;

  • To organise and coordinate onsite OEM training for clinical Radiography and Sonography staff.

  • To oversee training courses on and off site.

  • To establish NHS trust training requirements.

  • To complete, update and maintain training records.

  • To establish links with NHS trust staff to ensure smooth running of training.

  • To contribute to the development of a standardised internal training programme.

  • To participate in any other activities to assist in the smooth running of operational delivery of the diagnostic imaging and radiology managed equipment service (MES) on site.

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have;

  • An understanding of radiography or diagnostic imaging e.g. experience as a Radiographer or Sonographer OR through a degree in radiology or sonography.

  • Competent IT skills.

  • Good organisational skills.

  • Good inter-personal and relationship building skills.
