A Registered Children's Manager is required for a new 3 bed Children's Home (Learning Difficulties, Challenging Behaviour and Complex Needs) in Nottingham.

The experienced Registered Manager must demonstrate strong leadership and staff development skills with proven experience gained from a residential children's setting.

As Registered Manager, you will be required to:

Work with the wider team and executives to deliver the Statement of Purpose and provide strong, motivational leadership to the staff team.

To be part of a team providing high quality care that supports the needs of children and young people.

To foster good morale and team spirit amongst the staff team and good relationships with the local community in order to create a warm, homely, caring environment within the home whilst caring for the children as a whole and taking into account their individual needs.

To be an advocate for the young people so they have their physical, social and emotional needs met.

Work with local commissioners and external agencies to promote, grow and develop the service

Role Requirements:

Experience of working within the principles of the Children Acts 1989 & 2004

Knowledge and working experience of the Children's Homes Regulations

Experience of working to OFSTED standards and guidelines

Extensive experience as a Registered Manager within a Children's Residential Service

Must have a good level of verbal and written communication skills

Full Driving Licence

Use of a vehicle with Business Insurance

Has completed or willing to complete Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management Health and Social Care
