(Hybrid working 2 days in office Tue and Thurs. Most of the team do 2 -3 days in office but they are flexible)

Our client, a Lloyds syndicate, has a fantastic opportunity for an Outwards Reinsurance Assistant to join their Reinsurance Team in their London office. This role would be supporting all aspects of ceded reinsurance administration.

Your role as Outwards Reinsurance Assistant will be to: - Reinsurance Assistant

• Maintain records including organisation, scanning and filing
• To collate, review, maintain and update as required, key process monitoring timetables detailing key multi departmental processes across the business
• Produce reinsurance information / exhibits
• Review underlying data
• Provide regular account / movement analysis
• Calculate & review of premium adjustments
• Provide information in order to respond to Reinsurer queries
• Assist in the enhancement of reporting requirements
• Provide general team assistance
• Manage the relationships with customers, agents and service providers by ensuring the principles of Treating Customers fairly are upheld by agents and service providers
• Advise, assist and service customers on insurance and risk matters

To succeed in this role you should have : - Reinsurance Assistant

• Knowledge of the London insurance Market is essential - you may have come from an operational, broking or claims background
• Outwards (ceded) Reinsurance experience
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Basic / Intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint
• Studying for ACII
• Needs outwards or ceded reinsurance experience

You will be numerate, have good attention to detail and have strong interpersonal and organisational skills with an ability to communicate at all levels
