Working Hours - Mon-Fri - 8.30am - 5pm on site (flex to start and finish early/later).

A leading, reputable provider of medical engineering services are seeking a site based Electromedical Engineer to work at their site based in Southend on Endoscopic related equipment/devices.

The role - Repair Technician - Medical Devices:

As the medical repair technician, you will be responsible for on-site repair, preventative maintenance, and asset management of medical devices for specified hospital contracts.

Key accountabilities - Repair Technician - Medical Devices:

+ Maintenance and repair of electro medical devices

+ Achieve contract KPI's by working with and supporting the Biomedical Site Manager

+ Completed all associated administrative work in completing repairs and preventative maintenance as outlined by company procedures

+ Ensure minimal disruption to the operation of electro-med contracts by supporting customers

+ Sourcing of repair parts and suppliers ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained

+ Train or arrange training for engineers and assist them in carrying out their duties

+ Build long-term customer relationships, subcontractors, and staff to ensure effective responsiveness and excellent customer service

+ Occasional travel to customer sites as and when required to support the field service engineers

+ Perform schedule preventative maintenance od medical equipment as per manufacturers or company guidelines

Experience/skills required - Repair Technician - Medical Devices:

+ Engineering related qualification

+ Worked on medical related equipment in a previous role such as Lighsource, Processors, electro-surgery units, endoscopic stack systems, Video Systems etc.

+ Customer focused
+ Excellent communication both written and verbal


+ Up to £30,000 basic

+ Southend based, occasional travel to sites which is expensed.
