Sales Manager - Cyber

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced sales individual to join our Cyber Security Division team in the UK and increase our market share in supporting, securing and realising the benefits of resilient digital transformation to UK Government, including the Home Office.

You will get the chance to work with our high profile, prospective customers to understand their challenges and help propose solutions to meet them. You must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of being able to identify opportunities, develop customer relationships and bring acquisition to a successful conclusion and maintaining the enduring relationship through delivery.

As an experienced leader you will use your knowledge and experience to lead strategic captures including development of technical solutions and win strategies, develop and execute capture plans, as well as refine bid strategies to enhance proposal readiness and win business.

What you will do

  • You will work throughout the entire acquisition process with a focus on developing customer relationships, understanding their challenges, identifying & analysing customer requirements, providing presentations, assisting in analysing tender specification, preparing optimised sales quotations and seek to influence the tender specification to convert opportunities into real sales.

  • Your goal is to identify and analyse the customer's needs and transfer those into a winning value proposition and manage the process through the business and gain support from internal stakeholders.

  • We are looking for a driven, self-motivated individual that can work as part of a team and take the lead in collaboratively creating value propositions to clients. You will be working closely with the UK Government Team on activities to bring the business acquisition phase to a successful conclusion.

What we are looking for

Your primary responsibility will be to deliver significant growth in the UK Government account area for the Cyber Division. Some of the key responsibilities are as follows (not exhaustive):

  • Identify new opportunities via direct customer interaction to develop an own your own pipeline of opportunities

  • Establish business opportunities via indirect but complimentary routes to market, such as non-traditional partners

  • Ensure the business in a position to access commercial opportunities via customers chosen procurement routes

  • Obtain implicit and explicit customer requirements and define USPs and win themes.

  • Build customer relationships, new and existing Creation of new opportunities in the market place/exploiting current opportunities

  • Capture & Bid management - work with the Bid Management team to ensure business winning proposals are created.

  • Work with the technical teams to establish deliverable solutions

  • Producing & presenting sales information in front of customers utilising the entire Cyber and Security portfolio of products and Services to UK Government

  • Support appropriate events and corporate exhibitions

  • Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis to the business

  • Experience in Cyber and/or Security solutions and services aligned to the portfolio

  • Demonstrable experience of relevant experience in UK Government
