We are looking to recruit a new Sales Manager who will be responsible for managing the relationship with a key Defence customer in the Asia Pacific region, and also developing future business development opportunities.

We are a world leading provider of technologically advanced equipment for radar, EW, communications, EMC testing, scientific and medical applications.

Over the last 5 years our sales have doubled, and we are on track to continue at this rate. A key factor which has enabled the company to maintain this growth is that our customers continue to work with us, especially because of the high level of support we provide to ensure the products we supply meet the expected performance and reliability criteria.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and Managing our relationship with key Asia Pacific customer.

  • Engaging with customer on key future programmes.

  • Preparing quotes and offers related to future programmes.

  • Ensuring company communication on all existing and future programmes is consistent and coherent.

  • Working effectively with the representative in Japan & Korea.

  • Exposing customer to relevant developments and new capabilities.

  • Managing future business with its three major Japanese customers.

  • Developing the Business Footprint in Taiwan and SE Asia.

  • Managing our network of representatives in the Region.

  • Leveraging Government support for activities wherever practicable.

Key experience

  • Experience of doing business successfully in NE Asia.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders in Asia Pacific.

  • Ability to command trust, confidence and respect

  • Good awareness of defence, industry and political developments in the Asia Pacific region.

  • Working knowledge of UK Government support activities in Asia Pacific.

  • Ability to manage business activities remotely.
