Sales Proposals Engineer
Are you an experienced Sales Proposal Engineer? Are you interested in working for a market leading global Engineering company? If so, please read on!
You will be working as a Sales Proposal Engineer; you will be responsible for putting together technical and commercial proposals for existing and new customers, negotiation, and contract award.
Establishing opportunities and responding to RFI's (request for information) and RFQ's (request for quote).
Understanding customers applications and commercial requirements and translate these into product and service solutions.
Assessing deliverables, cost allocations to make a competitive profitable bid.
Following through on opportunities from the proposal to order acceptance.
Representing the company, customer facing with travel both in the UK and overseas as necessary.
Acting as the customers champion within the company.
Self-motivated, energetic and have a can-do attitude.
Previous experience within a Sales, Proposals, or Project Engineering environment.
An engineering or scientific qualification or background preferable.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
Good problem solving and team working skills
The ability to make reasoned decisions and present solutions.
The ability to gain an understanding of the Company's markets, core technologies, and capabilities.
The ability to gain knowledge of detector application and performance.
You will be experienced in:
Customer facing environment, clear concise communication.
Working as part of a team to deliver against customer expectation
The nuclear, defence, aerospace, pharma, or similar quality assured and regulated industry
Reviewing and capturing requirements, interpreting, and developing them into work breakdown structures, specifications, estimates and bid presentations.
Managing multiple tasks on time paying strict attention to detail
Working comfortably in both technical and commercial environments
