Job Description
We are embarking on an agile transformation with a key client and delivering a comprehensive new set of cloud services. We will be building a greenfield end to end on-premise cloud solution which will provide a platform for users to interact from various locations.
Managed Service utilising a multi-tenant private cloud to replace a complex legacy Enterprise infrastructure. This will require a high level of automation and repeatable component design patterns to allow the deployment of customer business solutions within short time frames. The project will make heavy use of Windows and VMware technologies, along with Ansible, Terraform and Scripting supported by niche infrastructure and applications.
The role is for a Scrum Master to provide leadership of an Agile Team. Working closely with a client based Product Owner, the Scrum Master will ensure the team lives agile values and principles and follows the processes and practices that the team agreed they would use and which are in line with the client's intended ways of working.
The responsibilities of this role include:
Clearing obstacles
Establishing an environment where the team can be effective
Addressing team dynamics
Ensuring a good relationship between the team aswell as others outside the team
Protecting the team from outside interruptions and distractions
Representing Sopra Steria at client led ceremonies such as Scrum of Scrums and PI Planning
Facilitating and attending all relevant agile ceremonies (iteration planning, retrospective, backlog refinement etc.)
Required Skills
Managing an agile team
Providing Agile Coaching
Facilitating Agile ceremonies
Supporting the Agile Transformation
Working with the Authority Product Owner to ensure requirements are understood and ready to start
Ensuring the team follow agreed engineering processes
Or at least 3 relevant years' experience and are prepared to complete the course before taking up the role.
