Scrum Master - SC Cleared

Location: Home Working

Duration: 6 Months

IR35 Determination: Inside IR35

Rate: Market rate

Scrum Master: You will join a blue chip consultancy working on a high profile project a Government Agency. You will be a strong communicator and influencer across multiple teams with a good track record of leading scrum teams to deliver successfully. You will work with a diverse team of developers, testers and business analysts, to turn product requirements into products using a sprint based approach to enable a fast and efficient delivery lifecycle.

+++ Please note that this is an SC Cleared role +++

The role will see you:

+ Building and leading of a self-organising team which works productively in order to deliver the agreed products.

+ Facilitate agile ceremonies, e.g. product backlog refinement, preplanning, planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives.

+ Enables the exploration of different agile approaches to ensure that the team work as productively as possible.

+ Coach and mentor team members on agile standards and best practices, e., Lean, Kanban, Scrum & DevOps, etc.

+ Ensure the correct setup of CDI tools for projects.

Your skills and experience:

+ First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I)

+ Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least one year for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.

+ Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency

+ Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc)
