Security Architect
Based in Bristol, with remote working available
Salary - £70k- £80k
Job Spec:
Manage resources in order to plan, estimate and carry out Cyber Security activities to time, budget and quality targets and in accordance with appropriate standards.
Manage project teams or direct reports to deliver required outcomes
Operate independently in setting and delivering work schedule, spotting opportunities and adapting to specific circumstances
Provision of cyber security advice and consultancy services to Government and Commercial clients. C level management within Government and Commercial sectors
Assist with the formulation and coordination of bids and proposals, providing specialist input.
Monitor and reports on the progress of projects, using appropriate quality assurance processes to ensure that projects are carried out in accordance with agreed standards, methods and procedures.
Contributes specialist knowledge and experience to support pre-sales analysis and enquiries
Stakeholder engagement including customers, programme managers, business leaders, developers and implementers, safety, security and other subject matter experts
Assist with the development of concepts, review, elicit and derive requirements
Mentor, coach and develop more junior members of the team in order to develop overall capability
Required Skills:
Broad and deep technical knowledge of cyber security and its implementation across layers 2-7 of the OSI model.
Broad and deep ICT cyber security technical knowledge;
Security professional certifications preferred (such as CISSP, CISM; and CCP SIRA and/or IA Architect at Senior or above)
Consultancy skills - building client relations; flexibility in working hours and locations; adaptability to changing schedules; reliability and quality of task delivery; team player.
Experience of working in a fast paced demanding environment;
Ability to demonstrate the determination and drive that will be required to deliver a challenging role.
Demonstrates leadership, with the ability to motivate and drive success. Diplomatic with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Capable of communicating at all levels with an organisation. Capable of working in multi-discipline teams but also on own initiative. Able to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
