An industry leading Security engineer with experience in leading and shaping Enterprise scale projects and a core focus around the Security's Service Offerings.
The role will sit within the UK and Ireland Secure Infrastructure team within the Security organisation and will require architectural and implementation knowledge of multiple security FW technologies. It is essential to have extensive knowledge and experience of Firewall Management and Policy Rule management across at least Checkpoint/CISCO/Palo Alto/ Juniper /Fortinet
The role is to provide Network Security Services to required quality criteria to Security clients and Technology as a whole.
Provide technology engineering support to external customers and internal project teams.
Responsible for and contributing to the provision of technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers' business needs and, consequently, for understanding customers' businesses.
As trusted advisor create and maintain effective customer relationships so as to ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain knowledge of leading-edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge.
Actively contribute to Security's solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects.
Help shape technical direction and technical strategies within the organisation and for external customers.
Accountable for consistent and significant chargeability levels (or expense relief for internal project teams) and for assisting in meeting or exceeding revenue and customer satisfaction goals.
Contribute to organisation's profitability by generating and cultivating new business opportunities and by providing technical support for deal proposal development.
Document Project work to ensure continuity within the team.

Applies subject matter knowledge to business issues,and is regarded by others within Security as a subject matter expert.
Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas/methods.
Usually works on complex problem Incidents or projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in depth evaluation of multiple factors.
Regularly exercises judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives liaising with more senior colleagues as necessary.

Provides mentoring and guidance to employees at lower job levels.
Contributes to providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organisation to external clients.
1-3 years proven track record of experience in enabling installations and configurations, products mapping to the Security portfolio
Good networking skills with experience of configuring complex environments are paramount to this role.
