Security Manager - DV Cleared

Target Rate: £750 - £850 per day
Clearance: DV Clearance required
Location: Remote (1 - 2 days a month in Bristol area)
Duration: 6 Months initially

Security Manager: You will join a blue chip consultancy working with the MoD, and the role will see you:

+ Manage the security service to ensure the appropriate level of compliance, e.g. as defined in the Security Management Plan;
+ Take ownership of the Security Management Plan and relevent documentation associated with the engagement.
+ Manage delivery of any reporting requirements.
+ Conduct audits, as required, to ensure compliance with the mandated operational security processes, governance and the implemented security controls.
+ Manage resolution of assigned non-compliances as a consequence of any security audits.
+ Provide point of contact for security incidents and manage through to remediation.
+ Attend Security Working Group meetings as required. This could be both internal or client facing.
+ Regular review of security processes and procedures to ensure they remain fit for purpose and look for continuous service improvements.

Your skills and experience:

+ CISSP or CISM certified
+ Operational Security Manager experience with strong knowledge and experience with security policies and standards
+ Ability to lead minor projects or project steps within a broader project and have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives.
+ Excellent knowledge of Information Systems Security Management, in particular ISO27001
+ Experience of building relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders
+ Able to discuss customer requirements and produce documented processes to ensure a complete audit trail of activities is maintained.
