Senior Business Development Executive - Aerospace Industry

Working in an established team, as a Snr Business Development Executive you will be manage the generation of new opportunities to support future sales revenue and increased profitability within the Aerospace / Defence sector.

You will be aware of and spear heading new market opportunities, possibilities for expansion, competitor strategy and current sources of revenue. Managing the next generation of new opportunities for future sales revenue, ensuring a profitable future.

+ The identification and market research of Business Development opportunities from government solicitations, industry press, internet information and from previous customer engagements.

+ Preparation and analysis of Business Cases to support new BD opportunities.

+ Business Case reports and data which are presented to managers to make informed bid/no bid decisions;

+ Ownership of the Business Development Opportunities database for all ejection seats worldwide ensuring that it is continuously up to date and accurate;

+ Create the marketing, graphic and communication strategies for new opportunities;

+ Represent the company at events such as customer engagements, shows, careers fairs and other marketing opportunities.


+ Commercially aware and numerically astute - able to create and manipulate complex business cases;

+ Showcasing sales experience within a safety critical Engineering environment - ideally Aerospace or Defence

+ Experience with the creation and operation of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software;

+ Proficient with SAP, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Access, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Powerpoint, Word, Teams & Skype.
