Senior Electronics Engineer

As a key member of the electrical engineering team, you will help drive the growth of the business through the development of brand new products, whilst continuing the support of existing ones
Key Responsibility Areas
Product development responsibilities will cover the full life cycle from requirement capture through prototyping, schematic capture & simulation, supporting PCB Layout & manufacture to build, test and qualification. A degree of support to existing products will also be required as necessary.
This will be a demanding and fast moving role with a high degree of customer focus. You will be working as part of a multi-discipline IPT and a strong working relationship with other functions will be essential.
Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge Required
A degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or related engineering/science subjects.
A broad experience of electronics design across a range of domains, e.g.: power supplies & filters, control systems, precision analogue electronics, electro-optics, mixed-signal design,
FPGAs, high speed digital interfaces, EMC design
Expert level domain knowledge in at least one of the above areas
Solid understanding of design analysis tools & techniques e.g. Spice, Simetrix, Signal Integrity analysis.
Experience at creating and defining electrical system architectures
Experience leading design / peer reviews
Ability to contribute positively to company process improvement
A willingness to work within a fast moving and dynamic environment.
Good team player with a willingness to share ideas, communicate well within an IPT environment and help develop less experienced engineers.
Electro-Optics experience beneficial.
This is a broad based role suited to an individual who can work effectively in a team, with great powers to influence others and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
This is an office, laboratory and factory based role using display screen equipment and test equipment.
You must be eligible to obtain SC security clearance and have a minimum of 5 years permanent residency in the UK.
