We specialise in the design, development and delivery of information assurance and cyber security solutions for government and corporate applications which hold prestigious accreditations worldwide. Joining us means successful candidates will have the unique opportunity to work within a team of highly skilled engineers that research and develop leading-edge Information Assurance products and applications for the security and communications industry.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Firmware Engineer who can operate in a fast-paced environment as part of a multi-disciplined team designing, developing and testing bespoke secure digital design solutions. You will jump into all aspects of a challenging and rewarding engineering role, that involves requirements elicitation, design, implementation and test of programmable logic and embedded firmware solutions

Key Skills / Knowledge and Attributes

  • Full development life-cycle experience.

  • Sound understanding of programmable logic engineering and quality processes.

  • Requirements analysis, capture and management using DOORs.

  • Strong VHDL experience for implementation of programmable logic designs.

  • Good working knowledge of using Libero for design synthesis.

  • Experience in developing HDL solutions for Microchip devices.

  • Experience in performing integration test activities of programmable logic solutions in hardware platforms.

  • Experience in using configuration management systems (SVN would be an advantage).

Desirable Skills / Knowledge and Attributes

  • FPGA

  • Xilinx or Altera devices and toolsets.

  • Design for security.

  • Embedded firmware design (C/C++/assembler).

  • Use of SmartFusion, Igloo or PolarFire device(s).

  • Cryptographic standards and algorithms.

  • PCIe NVME.
