Senior Hardware Engineer

As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will be part of one of several small dedicated expert teams responsible for the design and verification of electronic solutions, for products such as Helmet Mounted & Head up Display, Mission computing, Flight control, Active Inceptor and other associated safety critical technology.
This role will provide you with the opportunity to work with innovative technology and in highly collaborative teams. As the hardware team continues to expand, there will be scope for progression, across all levels within the business.
Your main responsibilities as a Senior Hardware Engineer will involve:
+Executing complex hardware design tasks in accordance with the hardware development plan, whilst meeting agreed timescales and allocated budgets
+Conducting hardware requirements capture, preliminary design, detailed design including a range of analysis tasks
+Conducting hardware requirements definition and hardware design architecture options evaluation
+Adopting an innovative approach to design and identifying improvements to working practices
+Working with other disciplines within an integrated team to optimise solutions and minimise impacts from dependencies
Your skills and qualifications as a Senior Hardware Engineer:
+Proven experience and knowledge of digital &/or analogue electronics technologies, design tools and techniques.
+Experience of all lifecycle aspects including functional partitioning & definition, circuits design, schematic capture, design analyses, design records, commissioning and integration
+A working knowledge of requirements management and configuration control
+Ability to demonstrate a good appreciation of cost and schedule constraints on designs to meet programme needs
+Bachelors in Electronics Engineering/Electronics and Communication
+Technical knowledge of C++, C, MATLAB
