Rate: £450 - £550 per day
Provide capability to the design and build of Microsoft Windows based Servers using the Microsoft suite of deployment tools
Work in a disciplined and structured manner in accordance with ITIL V3 based service management processes
Ensure business applications are maintained and updated (i.e. patched) in accordance with client policy.
Carry out preventative maintenance and monitoring using Customer provided tools
Update and administration of any changes to Configuration Items (CI)
Manage all customer issues through the proper escalation channels
To act as the subject matter expert for the identified role specialism in at minimum one or more of the key areas, providing specialist knowledge for both Project and BAU work.
To provide a high degree of technical accuracy in the completion of subject matter documentation, to be thorough, diligent and timely with the production of documentation to meet applicable deadlines.
The ability to provide input into the component design process

Complex service delivery experience, preferably in a Multi-Vendor environment.
Knowledge and experience with ITSM/ITIL V3 Reference model
Must possess an understanding of User Management in Microsoft Windows environments
SME knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory (AD) / AD Federation services (ADFS) and AD group policies
A working knowledge of the management / fault rectification of recent versions in relation to the SME field of knowledge
Demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V and associated technologies
Demonstrate knowledge Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) deployment and management
Experience of Microsoft SCCM; including building and deploying SCCM packages
An understanding of Enterprise Endpoint Security products such as AV, Application & Device locking
A working knowledge of Network security products such as McAfee Web Gateway, firewall appliances, Denial of Service (DoS) products & procedures, Network Intrusion Prevention Systems (NIPS) and Network Intrusion Detection (NID)
